Yesterday’s Problem
You are at a fancy party at the Governor’s mansion
and want to stay longer because you are having fun.
It is getting late. As you think about the situation,
you realize that if it were one hour later, it would
be twice as long past midnight as it would be if it
were only right now.
When you start thinking like that, you’ve been up
that long.
What time is it now?

Today’s Problem
Bobby goes to school on April 1st and announces that
today is the birthday of both his father and his
grandfather and coincidentally that they are the same
age.
His teacher says Ha! Ha! – April Fools to you Bobby.
That cannot be.
James insists this is not an April fools joke.
